Great parade. Part 2

About the new team of Denis Popov, the problems of Spartak, the appetites of Tom and the confusion of Slutsky in the light of the new Russian football championship.

On the eve of the 2007 Russian Championship, starting on Saturday, Sport Today is evaluating the readiness of all 16 Premier League clubs for the new season. In the second part of the announcement - about eight teams whose chances of success have not increased.

“WINGS OF COUNCILS” -15%

Tangible acquisitions : Shvetsov (Tom), Bitokov (Spartak LF), Trifonov (Zenit).

Tangible losses : Nemov (Saturn), Vinogradov (Rostov), Shoava (Spartak, ended the lease), Kanchelskis (ended his career), Dohoyan (Anji), Baba Adam (the contract ended).

Place last season : 10th.

Ambition : The middle of the table.

Summary : With four million transfers, you won’t be particularly comfortable - so the Wings ’primary goal was to keep those already on the team. I managed to persuade Matthew Booth, who was drawn to his homeland, and also left Anton Beaver, whom Moscow claimed to be. The departure of Kanchelskis, Vinogradov and Nemov significantly weakened the midfield - it is unlikely that the newcomers Shvetsov and Trifonov will be able to become a truly adequate replacement for them. The main acquisition of the Samara in the offseason was the coach - Sergey Oborin, who raised Amkar from amateurs to the Premier League. However, before the authority of Hajiyev in Samara, he still has to grow and grow.

"SPARTAK" LF -15%

Tangible acquisitions : Sidelnikov, Radich (both Alania), Shumeyko (Alexandria, Ukraine), Uzdenov (Volgar-Gazprom), Amisulashvili (Shinnik), Popov (Kuban).

Tangible losses : Serdyukov, Mostovoy (both “Tom”), Chikhradze (“Luch”), Kontsedalov (Lokomotiv, the lease ended), Korchagin (Lokomotiv), Poroshin (Shinnik), Bitokov (Wings of the Soviets "), Gogua (" Saturn "), Jeffton (" Kuban ").

Place last season : 9th.

Ambition : Do not fly out.

Summary : Unexpected for many, the last year’s take-off of the Kabardino-Balkars came back to the fact that the majority of its leaders left the team - primarily the mid-line and attack players: Korchagin, Poroshin, Kontsedalov, Serdyukov, Gogua. The former army player Denis Popov, who was invited in return, after leaving CSKA failed to prove himself neither in Kuban, nor in Belarus, nor in his native Novorossiysk, where he played in the second division for the local Chernomorets. Everything goes to the point that Yuri Krasnozhan will have to make every effort - not with the aim of avoiding the "second season syndrome", but in order not to fly out of the way. The Spartak coach became famous for his ability to tailor a combat-ready and strong team of middle players. But this season he will have to try to confirm his reputation.

SPARTAK M -10%

Tangible acquisitions : Sabitov (Saturn), Pletikosa (Shakhtar, Ukraine), Shoava (Wings of the Soviets, returned from lease).

Tangible losses : Rodriguez (Boca Juniors, Argentina, rent), Yenchi (Chahleul, Romania), Pianovic (Rostov), Cavenagi (Bordeaux).

Place last season : 2nd.

Ambition : Championship.

Summary : Having managed to literally buy a Croatian goalkeeper Pletikosu from Shakhtar, Spartak resolved only one of his many problems - the goalie - through this transfer window. But the goalkeeper was taken too late and the fact that he did not have time to go through the preseason with the team cannot but affect his adaptation in the club. Most importantly, the trouble was with the attack, which, with the departure of Cavenaga and Pianovich, was noticeably weakened, and Pavlyuchenko was injured inappropriately. Dziuba and Bazhenov have not yet been pulled into the role of the main strikers of the club, claiming gold. But the most important thing is that Spartak has lost a lot in image terms. The transfer of Amelia and other potential newcomers was canceled “through the fault of the sellers,” but this excuse against the backdrop of the strengthening of the same “Zenith” sounds at least solid. Letting unshooted youths as a base is a good and right course for a club that is willing to spend several seasons on becoming - like, for example, Moscow Dynamo. “Spartak”, as usual, needs everything “here and now”, so Fedotov will have to seriously try to debug the game in all lines under conditions like never before a short bench. The fact that the head coach of red and white knows how to work with youth is a fact, but whether he can repeat the trick of George Yartsev in 1996 is a big question.

Dynamo -10%

Tangible acquisitions : Pimenov (Lokomotiv), Klimavichyus (Ekranas, Lithuania), Karpovich (Kazakhstan).

Tangible losses : Ovchinnikov (finished his career), Nuno (Aves, Portugal), Jorge Luis (Braga, Portugal), Romashchenko (Torpedo), Derley (Benfica, Portugal, rent), Smertin (Fulham) ", England), Mendy (" Hearts ", Scotland), Jean (" Ruby ", rent).

Place last season : 14th.

Ambition : The middle of the table.

Summary : The Moscow Dynamo for the last two years has been almost the main newsmaker of the Russian (and Portuguese) offseason - it got to the point that they took Cristiano Ronaldo to the team in all seriousness. Dynamo hunted players of a slightly different caliber through this transfer window - a whole saga turned around the purchase of two Saransk players “Mordovia” - Sysuev and Kurochkin, but as a result they could not even get them. The club said goodbye to Fedorychev and his millions, as a result of which two last-year captains, Derley and Smertin, left the team. The massive outflow of players in theory was supposed to seriously weaken the team. But, nevertheless, fans of blue and white have the right to hope for the best - Kobelev should be allowed to work quietly, the atmosphere in the team has settled for some time, and yesterday's young players of the double will definitely have a chance to prove themselves.

"TOM" -10%

Tangible acquisitions : Serdyukov, Mostovoi (both Spartak Nch), Shirko (Shinnik), Lebedkov (Khimki), Michkov (Rubin).

Tangible losses : Pogrebnyak (Zenit), Krunich (Moscow), Onishchenko (Zarya, Ukraine), Shvetsov (Wings of the Soviets).

Place last season : 8th.

Ambition : The middle of the table.

Summary : Last season, Siberians clearly jumped above their heads - a merit of the head coach Vladimir Petrakov and the only representative of “Tom” in the Russian team Pavel Pogrebnyak. Pogrebnyak set off to conquer the northern capital, and Petrakov was faced with the fact that, despite the good money raised for the sale of the forward (about $ 6.5 million), the transfer budget was still ridiculous. Among the acquisitions, one can distinguish perhaps Alexander Shirko, an experienced but controversial forward, whose surname has long become a household name. Petrakov realizes that this replacement is not equivalent: "I believe that it is impossible to replace Pogrebnyak who went to Zenit, but I hope that some of the newcomers will follow Paul's example and will progress, becoming a real star." In this light, the statement by Tom’s CEO Yuri Stepanov about the task set for the team to get into the top five looks somewhat strange. Apparently, the anniversary year was to blame for such enthusiasm - exactly 50 years ago, the first Tomsk team of masters “Petrel” started in the USSR championship.

MOSCOW -5%

Tangible acquisitions : Krunich (Tom), Gubnik (Sigma, Czech Republic), Epuryanu (Sheriff), Topchu (Kuban).

Tangible losses : Filimonov (Salamina, Cyprus), Tchuise (Terek), Baltiev (Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan), Kirichenko (Saturn).

Place last season : 6th.

Ambition : UEFA Zone.

Summary : The main failure of the off-season for “Moscow” was the departure of her best scorer of the last two seasons, Dmitry Kirichenko, in the Moscow Region “Saturn”. This was acknowledged by the head coach of the “townspeople” Leonid Slutsky, calling the loss of the striker “a real shock”. On the other hand, the team sincerely believes that Pablo Barrientos, who almost never played last year, will be able to show his best football, Hector Bracamonte, who spent far from the best season and the young striker Golubov, who returned from lease. In the upcoming season, the club decided to bet on teamwork and stability of the main team. “On the one hand, the team has not fundamentally strengthened, lost Kirichenko. And, it seems, she should take the same place where the last two seasons were. But on the other hand, the roster played. For the second year we have been playing the same lineup. Yes, we have chosen this path this year. What will it be: right or wrong, the season will show, ”says Leonid Slutsky.

LUCH-ENERGY 0%

Tangible acquisitions : M. Chekh (Slovan, Czech Republic), Chikhradze (Spartak Nch), Voidel (Metallurg LP), Novkovic, Kralevski (both Hajduk, Croatia), Stoyanovich (Brussels, Belgium) )

Tangible losses : Tumilovich (Dynamo Minsk, Belarus), Gerus (Rostov), Cherkes, Monarev (both - Shinnik), S. Kuznetsov (Dynamo, the lease ended), Lomaya (Karl Zeiss, Germany).

Place last season : 7th.

Ambition : UEFA Zone.

Summary : Before the “Ray” is a very popular task for the championship of Russia - to get into European competition. The Serbian striker Stoyanovich, the Czech goalkeeper Marek Čech, the Macedonian defender Kraleski and the Serb Novkovic are called to stretch the borders of Europe to Japan. Vladivostok residents, for obvious reasons, most likely will not experience any special problems in home games - last year they lost only to Zenit and CSKA. But whether the Luch is strong enough to win away is a big question. Moreover, the problems in the attack have not been resolved - the poor fellow Tikhonovetsky has been declared, but disqualified, and Ospeshinsky is too unstable. Sergei Pavlov is optimistic, but remains cautious in the forecasts. Answering a question about how endless flights affect the team, he said that "the main problem is not to fly, not to fly out."

Khimki 0%

Tangible acquisitions : N. Chekh (Austria, Austria), Stepanov (Torpedo), Antipenko (CSKA), Zhitnikov (Saturn), Blatniak (Hajduk, Croatia), Vorobyov (Amkar), Maksumich (Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Tangible losses : Lebedkov (Tom), Pestilence (Torpedo), Ascension, Lyapkin (both - Shinnik).

Place last season : -

Ambition : Do not fly out.

Summary : Khimki unexpectedly won gold medals in the first division last season and did so largely thanks to veterans Tikhonov, Parfyonov, Beschastnykh, Drozdov, Berezovsky. In the offseason, the Moscow Region club conducted an impressive transfer campaign, acquiring 11 players, including striker Dragan Blatniak from Hajduk and midfielder Slovenia Nastya Čech from Austria. So far, all this is very reminiscent of the scenario in which the Grozny “Terek” went, whose veterans smashed everyone in the first league, but in the top division they quickly lost ground. True, if the players and coaches of Khimki adequately perceive their current status and the corresponding task, the Moscow Region club will have a chance to stay in the Premier League for at least a season.
