In the same wound, in the same pain ...

Nearly a six-year series of unbeatable meetings for CSKA with Spartak continued with the Saturday match at the Super Bowl in the capital's Luzhniki Stadium. The champions allowed the rivals to be more equal to themselves for 8 minutes 13 seconds.

Such a chronological indicator was made up of the mechanical addition of the segments, during which a draw was kept in the match: 0.53 to the first goal, 4.23 - with the numbers 1: 1 and 2.57 - with 2: 2. Less than a tenth of the playing time! The rest was led by the army team, who inadvertently turned the fight into a kind of fun - either “cat and mouse,” or “take it away.”

As a result, the teams remained at their own. CSKA - with the Super Bowl, but with a guarantee of an unbroken headache at the coaching staff. “Spartak” - with the same pain, seasoned with the bitterness of defeat, and the burden of many years of anti-army weakness, and obvious gaps in the composition a week before the start of the national championship.

In the undoubted positive, the champion should include a successful fifth attempt to score a goal in a single match. To do this, it was enough to reunite in the line of attack of the Brazilian craftsmen Jo and Wagner Love. There is, however, another version of the explanation of the ease with which scoring toothlessness was defeated: the army team got into the opponents defenses, which could not be taken, except perhaps completely abandoning appearances in the alien half.

But CSKA went forward, of course. And he opened the score in his first attack, surprisingly reminiscent of Luzhnovsky's scoring attack by Celta, which cost so much red and white in the UEFA Cup. It doesn’t matter that in the epicenter of the events there were half other characters: Shishkin - on the failed right flank of the defense, Kowalewski - at the gate. The problems of “Spartacus” from this did not become different. And there was a feeling that the Pavlyuchenko’s knee, which hadn’t been operated on recently, would most often be remembered with sadness by fans of the team in the coming month. Just in the attack the Spartacists did a lot. And the game of sending Dziuba to fill the gap more than once provoked well-deserved associations with the word, which in translation from related Slavic languages means his last name - “beak”.

The real misfortune to the team of Vladimir Fedotov is promised in the near future confusion and wobble in the rear. The defense and the goalkeeper of the red and white had a game under the motto: "The further, the worse." But Kowalewski, driven to hysteria by a complete lack of understanding with partners, seems to have sent himself to the reserve. In a tragicomic episode (although laughing, by and large, is not worth it) already at a score of 4: 2, he inadvertently disabled Strantzl, who had just healed his injury, and left the team in the minority for the finish ten minute.

A little more, and you’ll have to cry out loud about Alexander Starkov with his unanimously condemned year ago desire for “defensive” pragmatism ...

However, the same alarming defensive issues remain on the agenda of Valery Gazzayev. And at the same time with Guus Hiddink. The army defensive trio and goalkeeper Akinfeev (they are also the hope and support of the national team) will probably want to leave only the final whistle in memory of this match. Well, except that Ignashevich is also a goal scored by a free-kick.

And even a splash of champagne is not a sin to catch on: before the Euro 2008 match in Tallinn - only three weeks ...
