The unity of opposites

Heavily loaded with his problems, “Milan” collided with a light, maneuverable “Roma” - and capsized. There is nothing surprising in this - if the Romans are rapidly gaining height, then the red-black “corkscrew” is replaced by a “barrel”. There is probably nothing terrible in this. A few years ago, Roma was worse - and nothing. Survived.

Using the example of Roma, you can easily write a textbook on football economics. To simulate a situation: a glorious past with medals and money quickly rushed away, and in the harsh present only big debts and persistent creditors. The following are tips and tricks. Find at least some reliable sources of funding. Save the main star. Invite a talented young coach. Trust the youth. Make over-the-top acquisitions. In general, wash your hands before eating and cross the road only to green - and you will be fine. It will turn out “Roma”, which allows itself to turn the away match with “Milan” into a pretty sight and score beautiful goals. And why, in fact, did the Romans lose? Spaletti has as many as three world champions and the current third place in Serie A. What is worse for the Milanese - points were removed from them before the start of the season, the neighborhood with Ascoli in the standings is more and more familiar, and Gattuso was injured. But even such a “Milan” “Roma” was not afraid. And everyone else too. Brocky appeared in the center of the field, Oliveira and Gilardino rushed to the attack. A goal conceded in the 7th minute is not a hindrance. Immediately after the goal and until the break, the hosts attacked. They broke through the center, then launched on the flanks of Yankulovsky and Shimich. They beat from a distance and served corner. The Romans at that time were not up to grace. They desperately defended themselves, but they pressed the team more and more tightly against the goal. Doni darted from post to post, went out of the goal, stopped Kaka, and the attacks of the Milanese rained more and more. Twice hit the crossbar - Seedorf and Oliveira. Many times fell into the penalty area. Gilardino especially tried, who more and more resembles the manner of behavior on the field of Filippo Inzaghi (only Pippo, however, scores more often) ...

In the second half, “Milan” was a little quiet, but scored a goal. Brocky did this, a man with the figure of Gattuso and the face of Sergei Shnurov. The 30-year-old midfielder plays too rarely, so he is obliged to use his chances. True, there was no chance as such. Brocky got the ball and hit very hard. Amazingly accurate. Doni failed - 1: 1. After another couple of minutes, Brocky got the ball again and hit again. I didn’t hit, although this time the gate was much closer. Then struck Totti. Barbell. Kaka tried his hand. Doni helped out. He skillfully spun the ball under the Akilani crossbar. Dida had enough reactions. So the game continued. Rarely missed into the penalty area, so they beat more and more from a distance. It turned out, however, very tightly and accurately. Goalkeepers tried and did not miss. The Milanese attacked more often, but the guests were more beautiful. If the transmission, then, of course, the heel and one-touch.

And then “Roma” scored. In the middle of the field, Akilani twisted his legs into some incredible, completely Latin American knot and launched Mansini on the flank. The Brazilian passed, Totti struck his head. Nesta and Maldini, who helplessly fled to their gates, did not help either. The Roma players were jubilant, and from the bench for the celebration, I watched the sad-gritty Spaletti. Slightly spoiled the impression of the whole Taddei team - he clamped Seedorf's head under his armpit and for some reason he collapsed onto the grass. It turns out ugly. Then the game was over, the winners coach went to the locker room with a quick step, and Totti said a few encouraging words to Maldini. Milan lost again, Italy's leading sports newspaper La Gazzetta Dello Sport wrote about the Rossoneri crisis. Roma, however, is of little concern. They played great, a little lucky, but they deservedly won. Well done - if in one word.
