To know, it’s not fate to tell about football here. For the game component of the confrontation between Dynamo Kyiv and Shakhtar Donetsk has remained in the background, fifth to the right in the third row. At the forefront of events - on the front pages of newspapers and in television news releases - His Majesty Scandal flaunts.
Mircea Lucescu really does not like to lose. On Monday night, Shakhtar head coach visited the spotlight twice. During the game, he earned his first Ukrainian removal. And after she gave the journalists an extraordinary press conference.
Let us note in passing: no matter how the arbitrator works in the Ukrainian “classic”, the Donetsk side will always have reasons to blame the federation. Here are excerpts from Lucescu's post-match performance:
“... FFU is naturally Dynamo (Kiev): both there and there are led by people with the same surname. A foreign judge arrives in Kiev in two days, he is very well treated here ... It’s not normal that the president of the federation is also a Dynamo patron. There is a conflict of interest, and very serious ... "
However, let us turn to the game. In the first half hour, Shakhtar managed to demonstrate everything that allowed him to win in Kiev. Dynamo tried to play the first number, but had no serious chances to score. The counter-attacks of the orange-blacks were much sharper and more entertaining. In the 17th minute Brandao miraculously did not open an account. After a strike by the Pitmen's striker, Rodolfo took the ball off the goal line. The piquancy of the episode was that the defender with both legs stepped over the goal line. But has the ball been there? The rather meager tele-repetitions did not clarify anything. By the way, after the game, even Lucescu did not find fault with this moment.
The performance with the red cards and the throwing of the cap happened shortly before the break. By the way, by this time Shakhtar (like half a year ago) managed to lose Matuzalem. The lawn of Dynamo Stadium is as if cursed for a Brazilian. Matu out of the blue pulled a muscle.
So, about the deletions. Anatoly Demyanenko after the game noted that he recommended that Dynamo talk as little as possible with the Portuguese referee Paulo Costa. But the Shakhtar players, apparently, are still unaware that the European referees no longer really like when they enter into disputes with them. But do we really want a lot from a team whose coach this fall after every Champions League match smashes the referees, passionately telling journalists about some Western “racism” in relation to clubs from eastern Europe? So, now the insidious European Themis has overtaken Lucescu in the Ukrainian championship.
The scandal started in the 41st minute when Ciprian Marika deservedly received a warning for an optional foul in the attack. Literally right away, Sergei Rebrov in the center of the field knocked down Fernandinho. But here the Portuguese judge did not get a card. This caused a storm of indignation among the guests. Koshta was suddenly surrounded by six (!) Shakhtar players, begging for a “mustard plaster” for the Dynamo captain. It is interesting that the Donetsk captain Anatoly Tymoshchuk was not among the walkers. The Portuguese remained adamant.
Emotions did not have time to die away, as they broke out again. Dmitry Chygrynsky behind awkwardly overcame Kleber. The forward crashed, but kicked the foot of the Donetsk defender. He fell behind and, rising, gave a kick to the Brazilian. Costa was nearby, he saw everything and pulled out a red one from his pocket.
Shakhtar’s official website quotes Chigrinsky as saying: “I agree that this episode is my fault. But I can’t understand: why is provocation in the field not punished, and only the answer to the provocation is punished? ”
Now not only the players were indignant, but also the coach. The judge strongly recommended that Lucescu settle down. But for a long time the temperamental Romanian was not enough. However, his wards did not cope with the nerves. Lewandowski struck behind the legs of the same Kleber - still yellow. Lucescu instantly flushed, and then Costa politely, but inexorably pointed him out. In the hearts of the coach, he tore off his hat and threw it on the field. And then, proudly moving away, with caustic sarcasm said in the camera lens: “Bravo, federation!”
After the break, the game at Shakhtar did not work out at all. Without Matuzalem, and even ten of them, all gaming connections went wrong. Replacing Marika Elano did not show himself absolutely nothing.
Dynamo mechanisms also worked with a creak. But Demyanenko failed replacement. In the middle of the inning, experienced Maxim Shatskikh and Valentin Belkevich entered the field. Soon Shatskikh scored, and Belkevich assisted him. And the people of Kiev scored ten times. Artyom Milevsky managed to earn two warnings out of the blue. After the game, both Demyanenko and club president Igor Surkis, clearly not saying a word, said the same thing: it’s good that the winning goal happened even with equal compositions.
But such a game could not end calmly. In the last minute, Costa missed Rebrov's foul against Dario Srna near the Kiev penalty. And, as soon as the final whistle sounded, Srna and his partners rushed to tell Koshta about his errors. Horvath spoke more actively than others and replenished the team collection of red cards.
Similar behavior of Donetsk football players is already familiar. Indeed, according to their head coach, not a single referee working at Shakhtar matches has the right to make a mistake.
