"Chetman wanted his ideology"

Basketball club Dynamo held a presentation press conference on the launch of the club in the Euroleague. The team players were shown for about ten minutes, the head coach was very nervous, both before the event and after. But the club’s goals for the season were determined.

A meeting with reporters took place in the new Sports Palace in Krylatskoye, where white and blue moved from this season. In appearance, the arena resembles a curling stone, but it is difficult to challenge the fact that now it is the best basketball court in the capital.

The cry of Dushan Ivkovich, who conducted the training, was probably heard in Krylatsky or even in Rublevka. He was explaining something to his players, who managed to give up Spartak-Primorye from Vladivostok in the first round of the national championship. What exactly the trainer shouted, failed to make out. Security quickly removed outsiders from the hall - the training was closed.

Journalists waited almost forty minutes for a coach and basketball players. The players probably could not move away from this lesson and sat in the shower for too long. But they have to endure: who does not cope with the load - he immediately leaves the club. Like, for example, Mairi Chetman, a Dynamo player who has been called an ex-player for a week now.

Ivkovic spoke reluctantly about Chetman.

- He did not want to listen to what I said. But I had plans for this player, I wanted to build a game around him. But for this he had to follow the principles. But Chetman not only did not listen to me, but also tried to pursue his ideology. And here there can be only one ideology ...

It is quite reasonable if he said that it was his ideology, but the Serbian coach thought for a while, and then forced himself out of himself.

- ... Dynamo. In general, for me this player is no more.

However, Yevgeny Gomelsky, the head of the club, was not so categorical. He was being asked about whether the player was congratulated on his birthday.

- You go to the site and see congratulations there. For us, this player has done a lot, helped us win the ULEB Cup. And now we will always speak well of him.

- Did you give a present? - shouted someone from the audience.

- Present? - Gomelsky hesitated a little. “Well, the boys did something there.”

One could only guess what kind of boys they were.

Gomelsky immediately offended all the players who came to the team this year.

- For us, the main acquisition is the beautiful Sports Palace, which we received this year. We really want the wealthy residents of Krylatsky to trample a path here and attend our matches. And so that there are people in the stands who can make our life better.

Ordinary viewers can not worry. However, the rich are unlikely to come to a place where parking is poorly equipped. So this is what Gomelsky had in mind when he said that they would "trample the track."

The team’s basketball players, who announced their meeting with the press, were quickly sent home by the club’s management.

“They have another lesson in the evening,” they explained to everyone. - The guys need to prepare.

In those fifteen minutes that they sat, they managed to ask whom in the Euroleague they consider to be the main competitors. Basketball players were frighteningly politically correct and explained that "they themselves are the main rival."

The club leaders have set the task for the new season. In the Euroleague, Dynamo will try to enter the Top 16, and will take medals in the championship and the Cup of Russia. Experts say that the team can fulfill this plan.

“Well, about 12 questions have already been asked,” Yevgeny Gomelsky calculated. - I think it's time to stop.

Reporters immediately rushed to Ivkovich.

“I don’t understand why to hold all these press conferences,” he began to grumble. “You could now ask me all the questions, but in the end, you ask me something again.” What is the point? What do you come up to me? What do you want from me?

Talking without raising his voice, the Serbian coach has always been difficult.
