CSKA acquires Ramona. To replace Daniel Carvalho?

In the very near future, CSKA will finalize its first and, apparently, main off-season transfer 06/07 by signing a contract with 18-year-old Brazilian child prodigy Ramon, about which Sport today wrote about the interest of the army two weeks ago. The rising star of Corinthians and the Brazilian youth team will cost the Russian champion $ 7 million.

More precisely, according to SPORT Today, obtained from reliable Brazilian sources, for these 7 million CSKA will receive 80 percent of the rights to a football player. They will be purchased from MSI, headed by Kia Jurabchian, with whom Evgeni Giner established fruitful relationships last year during the transfer of Jo. At the moment, according to sports.ru, Ramon is undergoing a medical examination in one of the clinics in Munich, after which, if nothing extraordinary happens, the contract will enter into force.

In the fight for Ramona, CSKA was ahead of such prominent European clubs as Benfica and Arsenal. Also, among the contenders for the player, according to his representative, Leonel Drumond, there was a certain Spanish club. Especially persistent was the interest of Benfica, which, being unable to compete with CSKA financially, until the last moment hoped to rent a young football player. Two days ago, the Portuguese sports website Sportal claimed that, among other arguments, Benfica offers Ramona the 10th number - the number of Rui Costa. But CSKA came out of this fight as the winner, and Ramon will become the fifth Brazilian footballer in the Russian champions after Jo, Daniela Carvalho, Wagner Love and Dudu.

The full name of the CSKA rookie is Ramon Osni Moreira Lage, and in Brazil it is known to this moment by many. Although Ramon is only 18, he has already become famous as one of the brightest young talents, and his goal at the last year's youth championship of South America against the goal of the Venezuelan team has long been played through Brazilian channels.

Amploua Ramona is an attacking midfielder, or, as they say in Brazil, “meyacampo." It is absolutely identical to the role of Daniel Carvalho, who, judging by the growing interest in him of European clubs and the growing interest in these offers of the football player himself, can leave CSKA next summer. It would be reasonable to assume that CSKA is counting on Ramon as a potential replacement for Daniel Carvalho. It is completely possible, however, that these two football players will be able to play together, especially in the single-forward scheme.

Ramon is a pupil of the club Atletico Mineiro, but he spent the last six months in the form of Corinthians (11 matches and 1 goal in the Brazilian championship), which over the years, thanks to the money of MSI, has gathered a large collection of young Brazilian geniuses in its ranks. Ramon has consistently played for Brazilian teams of different ages and currently has two titles - the champion of South America and the vice-champion of the world (both taken last year as part of the 17-year-old team).
