Magento has a large community: developers around the world meet, share experiences, write code for open source parts.
Some even believe that Adobe bought Magento for $ 1.68 billion precisely because of the community: it’s so influential. But now is not about that.
The fact is that in Kharkiv Magento hold meetings from last year, and interesting speakers are coming there. The last event happened in April, Vadim Justus from Germany, Paul Seli from the Netherlands and Ukrainian developer Nastya Sukhorukova performed on it.
Paul told how to make a project and not make user stories. Nastya examined UI components from the frontend and backend. Vadim touched MSI - features that are sawn entirely in the community.
If you are interested in the platform, keep the video reports. We love them assembled and uploaded to YouTube. For Paul, they wrote Russian subtitles that can be turned on if you don’t understand English.

Magento Contribution Day
In addition to meetings, we arrange in Kharkiv Contribution days. These are events where developers from different companies, cities and countries come to write code to the core of the platform.
The last Contribution day was held the day after the mitap. The event was moderated by architects from the Magento Core Team Stanislav Idolov and Yevgeny Shakhsuvarov. By evening, the platform has become better for 8 pull requests, and that's all thanks to those who participated in the event.
The next mitap and Contribution Day in Kharkov will be in September. Information about events we will publish on the
page Magecom .
