Once installed, Mango Talker downloads a corporate address book from the cloud, and you can immediately start chatting. But first, of course, you need to log in. Please note: Mango Talker was created exclusively for business tasks. That is, this application is for work, but, for example, not for correspondence with friends. Or customers. Mango Talker on the computer replaces the landline office phone.

And the same thing on a smartphone or tablet. What is the plus? Imagine that someone is calling you at a work number (a colleague is a short number or an outside subscriber who knows your extension number or who has been transferred to you). The ringing tone of the desk phone is heard, but, let's say, you are absent from the workplace for some reason: you went to a meeting or even went on a business trip. So, if you have a Mango Talker on your mobile, you will receive a call in the same second.

Naturally, all conversations within the company, with colleagues - subscribers of one virtual PBX, are free . Depending on the virtual PBX settings, telephone conversations can be recorded , files will be saved in the "cloud". Listening is easy. In addition to the standard functions for correspondence - group and personal chats, file sharing and location transfer (geolocation) - for Mango Talker, we also provided for synchronization of all communications on different devices. If you put the application both on a smartphone and on a computer, then you will see all your correspondence in full and all attachments on any device - regardless of which device was used at the moment of sending or receiving a particular message. All dialogs are fully synchronized between devices working with one account.

Since Mango Talker is a corporate tool, we have implemented appropriate security tools . In particular, remote user connection management. If you or your employee lose the device with working correspondence, then you can remotely deauthorize the device and completely block unauthorized access to the information stored in the correspondence.

The softphone can not only be remotely disconnected, but also installed - even install it centrally at once on all user devices in the company.

In short - what's inside


The application uses the SIP engine - essentially the same as in any hardware SIP phone. It directly connects to the virtual PBX, which is responsible for all telephone calls and ensures the security of the negotiations. The channels between client applications and virtual PBX are encrypted.

The rest of the traffic is served by a Node.js based backend. Desktop clients are based on the Qt framework, the Android client is based on Kotlin, the iOS client is written in Swift.

Statistics


We collect various statistics on user activity for Mango Talker. And that's what's interesting in it.

The vast majority of users prefer Mango Talker to receive calls. Outgoing calls are in second place in demand, sending SMS is in third place. Usually, a softphone is installed at operator’s workstations. Approximately 70% of installations fall on the "desktop" version, of which about 95% - on Windows-based machines. In the mobile segment, the same 70% is taken by Android, but the most popular phone model on which Mango Talker is installed is iPhone 7.
