Today to the beginning of the season - ISport W117 . This is a cheap sports heart rate monitor, which is a set of watches + chest belt. He does not synchronize with the smartphone and works in the mode “from training to training”: he put on, worked on, took off.



The low price provided him popularity, because the closest competitors of Polar or Sigma were 2500 - 3,500 thousand crossed.

There is nothing tricky here, even the English interface does not greatly complicate the work with the clock. Management, of course, push-button.



The clock menu is controlled by the “Mode” button, which sequentially switches the display between the time / heart rate monitor / alarm sections, etc. Calibration is meanwhile provided.

Biometric parameters are set from the HRM menu. Having reached it using the Mode button, it is necessary to press “Reset” and hold the backlight button, setting the age, weight, upper and lower limits of the pulse.

The time is set from the “Time” menu. By pressing the backlight button, you will enter the settings mode, where you can go to the desired numbers by pressing the right / up buttons.

At first it seems a little tricky, however, first, the settings are made one-time, so the path, however unusual in the age of touch control, can be traversed. And, secondly, without some installations, including calibration, you can, frankly, do without.

The main purpose of the W117 is the heart rate monitor, which is always before your eyes, and formally everything else, including how old you are and how much you weigh - in this ecosystem is of little importance.


Pulse watches take off the belt.



He is "cast." That is, the sensor can not be replaced. This may seem inconvenient to some, but with the same popular FT1 or Sigma belts are arranged in the same way.

The issue of autonomy for W117 is not in principle: everything works from the CR2032 and in the training mode one battery is enough for a long time. The watches are assembled, albeit simply, but rather reliably. Have protection against moisture.
