Automated data collection systems gradually become the ordinariness of our lives. Most of all this, perhaps, relates to housing and communal services. In this area, the need for automated collection and metering of counters has matured long ago and is gradually being introduced, but public workers can still be met with the pen of rewriting readings in their notebook. Okay, stop pouring water here. Under the cut, I will tell you about our pride in the “ NAgruzka ” software and hardware complex, which is designed to eliminate all misunderstandings between public utilities and residents.

In the same article we will try to present the general concept of “LOAD” and invite everyone to the test.

So what is “LOAD”?


This is a symbiosis of the software complex and remote control control devices SNR-ERD with the help of which such a rather complicated and delicate task is solved, such as metering of heat, hot and cold water and electricity. Using SNR-ERD, you can accurately determine where and at what stage losses are occurring and to eliminate leaks or prevent unauthorized resource consumption.

“LOAD” consists of three main components - a data collection network, a data transfer network and a data processing platform.



The data acquisition network is built on the SNR-ERD remote monitoring and control devices. The system consists of three devices with the names:

pulse counter ,



repeater



and a hub .



Universal pulse counter is installed directly on the metering device. Its functions include the removal and counting of pulses from a water meter, electric meter, gas meter and any device where there is a pulse output, as well as data transmission to the head unit (hub) over the radio interface. The hub is installed in the technical room of the house or each entrance, depending on the location of metering devices. For high-quality data transmission, repeaters are installed on each floor or across the floor. Their task is to transmit a signal from the radio counter to the hub.

The radio counter counts pulses from metering devices, transmits them to a repeater. For repeaters, the data goes to the head unit - the hub. The concentrator also processes metering readings using wire interfaces (RS232 / 485) - this allows the system to read meter and heat meter readings as well. As a result, within the framework of one system, several tasks are solved at once: water, gas, as well as thermal and electrical energy.

Software


The program complex provides automatic collection of readings from metering devices and provides them, at the request of the customer, to the company's accounting department, to the payroll system or GIS utilities. The number of addressees to whom data can be sent - both general and optional (types of resources, for example) is not limited.

If necessary, the system can be expanded with additional functionality, for example, by monitoring temperature, humidity, penetration sensors, managing various loads, including lighting, and access systems, informing about equipment malfunctions.

Industry Solutions


There are a lot of options for industry solutions, where you can apply “LOADing”. This is a survey of counters in apartment buildings, business centers and cottage settlements. For example, one of the largest projects implemented by us in the Sverdlovsk region is a survey of counters in the Akademichesky microdistrict in Yekaterinburg, a business park in the Business District, and a survey of counters in the cottage village Degtyarsk. During the implementation, 253 ERDs were connected, and 10792 counters were connected to the system. After implementation, it was possible to automate and significantly reduce the readings from all counters. All data is entered into the accounting system, where each household can track the consumption of resources online. The collection of evidence is conducted from 80 apartment buildings.

Cottage settlement in the city of Degtyarsk, Sverdlovsk region




In the village there was a problem of inaccessibility of meters, which were located high on the pillars and located far from each other over a large area. As a result, the collection of indicators took a lot of time. In addition, in the village there is no normal Internet channel.

All problems were resolved by installing 11 electric meters “Mercury”, and two ERD3s GSM.2 were installed to transfer indicators
